Renji Hospital supports multidisciplinary diagnosis, treatment, and academic medicine through 13 nationally recognized key clinical specialties, including gastroenterology, obstetrics, cardiology, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, nephrology, radiology, rheumatology, allergy, transplantation, and critical care medicine. The hospital also hosts national-level research platforms, including the National Key Laboratory of Oncology Systems Medicine and the Ministry of Health Key Laboratory of Gastroenterology. Additional programs include multidisciplinary initiatives for end-stage liver disease in children and adults, a flagship nephrology department integrating Chinese and Western medicine, and national institutions supporting drug clinical trials and anesthesiology research.

Medical Technology & Equipment

Renji Hospital supports advanced diagnosis, surgery, oncology, imaging, and clinical research through a range of medical technologies and precision treatment systems. Its infrastructure includes dual-source photon counting CT, PET-CT, PET-MR, da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery systems, X-ray stereotactic radiotherapy and tomotherapy systems, linear accelerators, a 320-row 640-slice ultra-fast spiral CT scanner, hybrid operating rooms, and a telemedicine teaching platform supporting clinical collaboration and medical education.
