The hospital operates across two campuses, Heping and Hunnan, with 4,835 beds and a workforce of more than 5,300 employees. It supports multidisciplinary healthcare delivery through national key specialty construction projects covering major clinical and supporting disciplines. In 2025, the hospital recorded nearly 3.82 million outpatient and emergency visits and approximately 240,000 inpatient admissions. More than 3,700 multidisciplinary consultations (MDT) were conducted, while Grade IV surgeries accounted for 40.8% of procedures and minimally invasive surgery represented 25.4% of total surgical volume.
Clinical Excellence & Academic Leadership
The hospital currently supports 28 national key clinical specialty construction projects and has developed multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment platforms across its campuses. The Hunnan Campus includes facilities dedicated to oncology, cell and gene therapy, laboratory medicine research, international medical services, and biobanking. The hospital conducts research focused on major diseases including cancer, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and infectious diseases, supported by more than 50 national, ministerial, provincial, and regional scientific platforms. As a teaching hospital of China Medical University, it provides postgraduate education, residency training, and clinical teaching through multiple national training and education bases.
Medical Technology & Equipment
The hospital has developed advanced clinical and research infrastructure across both campuses, including modern operating rooms, high-level laboratory and diagnostic testing centers, multidisciplinary treatment centers, a cell and gene therapy center, and a national clinical research platform for laboratory medicine. The Hunnan Campus also includes an international medical center and biobank supporting clinical care and translational research.
