ABIMO is the representative entity of the Brazilian healthcare products industry, promoting the sustainable growth of the sector in national and international markets.
Founded in 1962, ABIMO was born from the idea of 25 medical and dental product manufacturers. They decided to unite to strengthen, organize, and regulate the sector. At the time, the group focused on working for the benefit of the national industry and ensuring the quality and safety of medical and hospital equipment produced in the country.
During these years, ABIMO has expanded its support activities for the supply chain through councils and working groups responsible for all technical, operational, and associative aspects of the sector.
It has over 60 years of history. And for the next 60 years, ABIMO is committed to continuing its work to increasingly promote the integration of the medical and dental equipment sector with public health objectives.
