Performance and Safety

The Ellipse ICD physician-designed shape features an angled header designed to improve lead wrap and rounded edges for patient comfort and ease of implant. At 30 cc and only 12 mm thick, the Ellipse ICD has a small footprint, yet inside is powerful technology — from safeguards against unneeded shocks to algorithms that provide therapy assurance. In addition, the Ellipse ICD has a QHR‡ battery designed for longevity and rapid charge times.
