The company will use the capital to strengthen its commercial infrastructure, expand clinical research, and pursue new applications for its FLEX Vessel Prep System in broader vascular settings.

CEO Denis Harrington said the new round reflects growing confidence in the company’s direction and technology. “As we enter our next phase, we are grateful for the continued support of our existing investors and excited to welcome new partners to the syndicate.” The FLEX system is already FDA 510(k)-cleared and CE Mark-approved, and holds a dedicated CMS HCPCS code in the United States, positioning the platform for wider adoption.

The investment underscores the ongoing need for more durable treatment strategies in peripheral arterial disease and vascular access for dialysis patients, where restenosis and repeated interventions remain a clinical challenge. Brian R. Smith, Managing Director at S3 Ventures, said, “VentureMed is addressing one of the most persistent challenges in vascular access with a technology that is both elegant and transformative.”

Clinical specialists have also pointed to the growing role of vessel preparation in long-term outcomes. “Lesion prep is rapidly becoming one of the most important procedures for improving patient outcomes. The FLEX VP system is leading the way in addressing AV Access interventions,” said Dr. Ari Kramer of Spartanburg Medical Center.

As vascular disease continues to rise globally, VentureMed aims to build evidence for expanded indications and broaden availability of the device. Alexander Schmitz, Partner at Endeavour Vision, noted that reducing reinterventions aligns with the industry shift toward value-based care and long-term durability in treatment.

VentureMed has raised $28 million in Series C financing to accelerate commercial adoption of its FLEX Vessel Prep System, advance clinical programs, and broaden its use across new vascular indications.

[7,488,680,10
594
post-36668","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-americas","category-breaking-news","category-cardiovascular","category-strategic-development","tag-financing
["GET
