{"id":25265,"date":"2023-10-05T18:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/news\/?p=25265"},"modified":"2023-10-17T08:50:11","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T08:50:11","slug":"inovedis-closes-4m-series-a-financing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/news\/it\/inovedis-closes-4m-series-a-financing\/","title":{"rendered":"Inovedis Closes $4M Series A Financing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albstadt, Germany-based <a href=\"https:\/\/inovedis.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inovedis<\/a> has closed $4 million Series A financing to support the commercialization of its SINEFIX\u00ae implant system in the United States and sponsor a clinical study in Germany to generate data required for CE mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This financing was supported by participation from all of Inovedis&#8217;s original seed round investors including High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds, MBG Mittelst\u00e4ndische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Volksbank Albstadt ChancenKapital, Start-UP BW Innovation Fonds, angel investors, and an initial investment from Renolit SE, the current manufacturer of the SINEFIX implant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SINEFIX enables refixation of the rotator cuff tendon to bone using a simplified surgical technique optimised for minimally invasive surgery. The new technique requires minimal instrumentation and eliminates the complexity of suture management and knot tying, which are time-consuming and require a wide range of instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SINEFIX provides an effective treatment solution for small and partial thickness tears.
