The company is developing bioelectronic therapies for central nervous system (CNS) disorders, based on technology originating from the University of Wisconsin\u2013Madison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s approach targets cerebrovascular and glymphatic dysfunction, mechanisms increasingly linked to neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases. NeuraWorx aims to address these pathways through a first-in-class bioelectronic system designed to modulate brain physiology via objective biomarkers and clinically relevant endpoints to guide development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John Propst, Principal at Nexus NeuroTech Ventures, stated that the investment reflects confidence in the scientific foundation behind the platform. \u201cWhat differentiated this opportunity for Nexus was the strength of the underlying physiology, the clarity of the mechanistic hypothesis, and a robust chain of preclinical and emerging clinical evidence supporting translatability,\u201d he said. He added that the company\u2019s development strategy aligns closely with regulatory and clinical requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NeuraWorx plans to use the new funding to expand its team and advance its clinical and regulatory programs. The company is currently focused on progressing its Cerebrovascular Pacing System toward first-in-human studies while strengthening internal capabilities across neuroscience, clinical development, and regulatory affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis funding validates our science and accelerates our mission to transform brain health for everyone,\u201d said Chris Minar, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of NeuraWorx.
