Medtronic and Zoll Medical have reached a strategic cooperation agreement on March 14 in Shanghai. The two sides will collaborate in the fields of “popularizing the treatment of cardiac arrest”, “improving the coverage rate of public AEDs (automated external defibrillators)”, and “popularizing knowledge of public cardiopulmonary resuscitation”.
In the field of public and patient education, the two sides will enhance the public’s awareness of first aid through the integration of professional training and technical service capabilities.
In the common disease areas of cardiac arrest and arrhythmia, the two sides will improve the popularity of in-hospital and out-of-hospital defibrillation treatment equipment through the integration of products, channels, and service capabilities, and promote primary and secondary prevention of cardiac arrest, thus saving more lives through collaboration.
