OYMotion Technologies Raises US$ 14M to Advance Brain-Computer Interface and Embodied Robot Technologies

OYMotion Technologies (傲意科技) has secured Series B+ funding of nearly RMB 100 million (US$ 14 million), led by Huafa Group (华发集团), with participation from Guangda Huitong (广大汇通) and Heying Capital (合盈资本). The funding will further strengthen OYMotion’s position in the fields of brain-computer interfaces and embodied robotics, expanding product applications, establishing a high-standard production system, enhancing R&D and manufacturing capabilities, increasing production capacity, and driving global market expansion for several innovative products.

Since its establishment in Shanghai in 2015, OYMotion Technologies has focused on the intersection of brain science and robotics, successfully launching brain-computer interface and robotic products with independent intellectual property. The company has obtained over 80 patents and launched multiple market-recognized products, including the OHand™ smart bionic hand and the ORF series of neurorehabilitation exoskeletons.

Since its launch in 2020, the OHand™ smart bionic hand has rapidly gained market share due to its superior technology and cost-effectiveness, earning both FDA and CE certifications. In 2023, OHand™ also secured the U.S. PDAC commercial insurance payment code and began overseas commercialization in several countries. The ORF series neurorehabilitation products were approved for entry into Shanghai’s innovative medical device approval channel in 2024. These products primarily treat movement disorders caused by conditions such as stroke and brain injuries and have already demonstrated significant clinical success.

OYMotion Technologies has also introduced the ROHand series of dexterous hands in the embodied robotics field, establishing itself as a leader in the domestic dexterous hand market. The ROHand offers high flexibility and precise operation capabilities, making it widely applicable in various complex robotic scenarios.
