Cohen as Chairman of its Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Israel-based company has FDA clearance for a patch-like device that collects and transmits patient data\u2014including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiration, heart rate variability, and cardiac output\u2014to a secure cloud for AI-assisted analysis. The technology is positioned to shift the paradigm in ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and long-term patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cohen, a seasoned healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience, previously co-founded and led Axonics, Inc., a neuromodulation company that went public in 2018 and was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2024 for $3.7 billion. Earlier this year, he also oversaw the $600 million acquisition of renal denervation firm SoniVie by Boston Scientific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welcoming his appointment, Biobeat CEO Arik Ben Ishay said, \u201cRay\u2019s experience in building and scaling medical technology companies will be invaluable as we look to expand the reach of our platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cohen noted that Biobeat\u2019s solution achieves what many companies have pursued unsuccessfully: an FDA-cleared, cuff-less ambulatory blood pressure monitoring system. He highlighted its applications in renal denervation as well as in monitoring patients after cardiac procedures and those with chronic heart failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cohen continues to hold board positions across multiple medtech companies, including <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/kestra-medical-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kestra Medical Technologies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/inspiremd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">InspireMD<\/a>, RxSight, <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/nalu-medical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nalu Medical<\/a>, and Archimedes Vascular.
