XCath Raises $30 Million Series C to Advance Endovascular Surgical Robotics

XCath has raised $30 million in a Series C financing round to support continued development and future commercialization of its endovascular surgical robotics technology. The round was co-led by Crescent Enterprises and Fred Moll, chairman of XCath’s board of directors. With this latest investment, the Houston-based company has now raised a total of $92 million since its founding in 2017. The funding will help advance its efforts to bring what it describes as the first commercially practical endovascular robotic system to market and support work toward performing a clinical telerobotic mechanical thrombectomy procedure.

This funding accelerates our commitment to expanding access to life-saving care so that where a patient lives no longer determines whether they live.”
The financing follows the company’s first-in-human procedures using its Iris robotic system to treat patients with complex brain aneurysms in November 2025. The procedures were performed by Vitor Mendes Pereira at The Panama Clinic in Panama City, with local principal investigator Anastasio Ameijeiras Sibauste, marking the second time a surgical robot had been used in an intracranial neurovascular intervention.
