{"id":39082,"date":"2026-04-08T03:25:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T03:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/news\/?p=39082"},"modified":"2026-04-08T05:21:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T05:21:36","slug":"e2-raises-80m-to-advance-helo-thrombectomy-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/news\/ru\/e2-raises-80m-to-advance-helo-thrombectomy-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Endovascular Engineering Raises $80M Series C to Advance H\u0113lo\u00ae\u00a0Thrombectomy Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Menlo Park, California-based <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/endovascular-engineering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Endovascular Engineering<\/a> (E2) has raised $80 million in an oversubscribed Series C financing round to support the commercialization of its H\u0113lo thrombectomy platform, designed for the treatment of pulmonary embolism, a major cause of cardiovascular mortality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The round was co-led by <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/gilde-healthcare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gilde Healthcare<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/norwest-vp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Norwest<\/a>, with participation from existing investors including <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/sante-ventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sant\u00e9 Ventures<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/415-capital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">415 Capital<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/g-medtech.com\/database\/medtech-players\/index\/s3-ventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S3 Ventures<\/a>, Panak\u00e8s Partners, and M&amp;L Healthcare Investments, as well as two existing undisclosed strategic investors and a new global strategic investor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The H\u0113lo platform incorporates a dual-action mechanism that combines aspiration with mechanical clot disruption. It is designed to deliver large-bore performance through a small-profile catheter, with the aim of enabling efficient single-pass procedures. The system is intended to support procedural workflows as the use of mechanical thrombectomy continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is a pivotal milestone for E2 as we continue our mission to improve options for patients and physicians in the venous thromboembolism (VTE) space,\u201d said Dan Rose, chief executive officer at Endovascular Engineering. \u201cWe are incredibly proud of the capabilities of the H\u0113lo\u00ae Platform, and this financing enables us to build a strong commercial organization while continuing important investments in R&amp;D and Operations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cE2 represents the type of innovation we look for \u2013 technology that meaningfully advances clinical care and has the potential to define a category,\u201d said Geoff Pardo, general partner at Gilde Healthcare.
