The funds will be mainly used for new product development and registration, as well as the construction of Pathogenic Microorganism Skynet Laboratory (Chinese: \u75c5\u539f\u5fae\u751f\u7269\u5929\u7f51\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5ba4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In November 2021, WellingMed announced the completion of series A financing of 100 million yuan, jointly invested by Runda Medical (Chinese: \u6da6\u8fbe\u533b\u7597) and Gongshu State Investment (Chinese: \u62f1\u5885\u56fd\u6295). Founded in 1999, Runda Medical is dedicated to providing integrated medical laboratory services covering both solutions and a full range of IVD products. It is listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange and has annual revenues of RMB 8.9 billion in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WellingMed is a national high-tech enterprise based on molecular biology technology platform, focusing on accurate diagnosis of clinical infection. The core technical personnel are from Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on the three cutting-edge technologies of next-generation sequencing (NGS), microfluidic chips, and transcriptome sequencing, it has independently developed and launched a variety of IVD products such as automated testing instruments, software, and testing reagents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
