This expansion follows significant growth in U.S. production, as the company has steadily increased its manufacturing footprint since opening its current North American headquarters just over four years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new space will further enhance United Imaging\u2019s capacity to meet rising demand across all four imaging modalities currently sold in the U.S. Over the past four years, the company has achieved local production for these modalities, with all critical spare parts stored at its Houston facility and various stocking locations nationwide. Since 2021, the company\u2019s U.S. workforce has grown by an average of 60% annually to support this increased production and demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith rising demand comes the need for greater manufacturing capacity, and we are excited to expand our operations in Pearland,\u201d said Jeffrey M. Bundy, PhD, CEO of United Imaging Healthcare North America. The strategic location near Houston\u2019s ports aligns with United Imaging\u2019s global growth plans, as the company increases its operations in South America and worldwide.
