The funds will support scaling production to 1,000 units per year and preparing for a limited U.S. launch in 2026 targeting interventional pain physicians, spinal surgeons, podiatrists, and other specialists.

The Injectrode system delivers neuromodulation therapy using a 1mm-diameter implant—roughly half the width of a grain of rice—that can be placed with an 18-gauge needle. This approach removes the need for one- to two-inch surgical incisions typically required for implantable neurostimulation systems, offering a less invasive, drug-free alternative for chronic pain treatment. Neuronoff aims to make neuromodulation accessible to a wider patient population by simplifying the procedure and lowering overall treatment costs.

Neuronoff’s CEO, Manfred Franke, said the new funding reflects investor confidence in the company’s vision to deliver a needle-based, surgery-free solution for pain management. The company anticipates that its platform could cut healthcare costs by more than half compared to traditional neuromodulation systems, potentially encouraging earlier adoption by insurers. The Injectrode is designed to align with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) lead placement codes, which could streamline reimbursement and reduce administrative burdens for clinicians.

According to MedTech Angels’ managing member Andrew Zeringue, advances in lead design and delivery are essential for the next stage of neuromodulation. He noted that Neuronoff’s approach may provide physicians with a simpler, more effective way to deliver targeted electrical stimulation to pain-related neural pathways.

The Injectrode has already demonstrated safety and consistent performance in a first-in-human clinical trial for chronic lower back pain, with no serious adverse events reported. Neuronoff is also exploring applications beyond pain management and recently established a wholly owned subsidiary focused on an undisclosed condition affecting roughly 16 million U.S. adults. Further details are expected to be announced at the North American Neuromodulation Society Annual Meeting in January 2026.

Neuronoff raises $4.5 million to scale production and prepare for the 2026 U.S. launch of its minimally invasive Injectrode neurostimulation system for chronic pain.

[7,681,10
594
post-36078","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-americas","category-care-therapy","category-strategic-development","tag-financing
["GET
