The latest funding includes new strategic investors Maruho, a leading dermatology company in Asia, and Samsung Next, the innovation arm of Samsung. The extension builds on Sibel’s earlier Series C round led by The Steele Foundation for Hope with participation from Dräger.

According to CEO Steve Xu, MD, the new investors not only bring financial backing but also specialized expertise and global reach to help scale the company’s medical wearables and AI-driven health monitoring solutions. The partnership with Maruho expands an existing collaboration focused on developing digital health technologies for dermatology, beginning with innovations in managing skin itch conditions. Samsung Next’s involvement further deepens Sibel’s integration with Samsung mobile platforms, which are already used in the company’s FDA-cleared ANNE® One clinical monitoring system for waveform display and alerting.

Jonathan Machado, Managing Director at Samsung Next, emphasized the potential of pairing Sibel’s clinical-grade wearables with Samsung’s mobile devices to deliver validated, cost-effective solutions for healthcare and life sciences applications. Dr. Xu noted that the company’s partnerships with hospital systems continue to demonstrate how digital monitoring technologies are extending patient care beyond traditional clinical settings.

To support its expanding business, Sibel Health has also announced two significant board appointments. Kimberly Querrey, Chair and CEO of Gulf Shore Private Capital and a trustee of Northwestern University, has been elected Chairwoman of the Board, having served as a director since Sibel’s founding in 2018. Additionally, Tim Sullivan, Co-Founder and Vice Chair of Madison Dearborn Partners and Chairman of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Corporation, joins as an independent board member and personal investor.

With the new funding and leadership additions, Sibel Health plans to advance its mission of integrating continuous, real-world health data into clinical trials and everyday medical care. Dr. Xu said the company is focused on accelerating the transition from episodic monitoring to continuous, predictive clinical intelligence powered by its wearable technologies.

U.S.-based Sibel Health has extended its Series C financing to $39 million with new strategic investments from Maruho and Samsung Next, while appointing new board members to guide its next growth phase.

[7,488,683,10
594
post-36214","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-americas","category-breaking-news","category-digital-health","category-strategic-development","tag-financing
["GET
