In this newly created position, she will lead commercial strategy and R&amp;D operations across the company\u2019s MedSurg, Dental Solutions, and Health Information Systems segments, reporting directly to CEO Bryan Hanson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knight brings more than three decades of experience in the MedTech sector, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Baxter International, where she oversaw global sales, R&amp;D, supply chain, and medical and regulatory affairs. Her career includes leadership roles at Medtronic, Covidien, Tyco Healthcare, and Kendall, and she currently sits on the board of Waters Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announcing the appointment, Hanson said the move strengthens Solventum\u2019s leadership structure as it continues to build out its commercial capabilities following its launch as a standalone company. \u201cHeather\u2019s appointment to the new role of Chief Commercial Officer reflects Solventum\u2019s commitment to building a high-performing organization,\u201d he said. \u201cBy aligning our go-to-market strategy under one leader, we will enhance our ability to leverage the size and scale of Solventum, driving more coordinated execution and profitable growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knight said she is joining the company at what she called \u201ca pivotal time\u201d in the execution of its multi-year plan. She noted that Solventum holds strong positions across its portfolio and said she looks forward to supporting commercial productivity and market development efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the leadership change, Chris Barry, Executive Vice President and Group President of MedSurg, will depart the company at the end of the year after supporting a transition process.
