Soukas, M.D. as its new Chief Medical Officer. The move comes as the company prepares for the U.S. launch of its next-generation stent platform and seeks to strengthen its clinical leadership in carotid intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDr. Soukas joins InspireMD at a pivotal time for the company,\u201d said Marvin Slosman, Chief Executive Officer of InspireMD. \u201cHis expertise and clinical focus in carotid and peripheral vascular disease will be invaluable as we bring CGuard Prime to the U.S. market. This is a transformational time for carotid intervention, and Dr. Soukas will play a key role in advancing our mission to deliver best-in-class outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Soukas currently serves as Director of Vascular Medicine and the Peripheral Vascular Interventional Laboratory at The Miriam Hospital and as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University\u2019s Warren Alpert Medical School. He founded and directs the university\u2019s Vascular and Endovascular Medicine Fellowship Program. A Fellow of several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Vascular Medicine, Dr. Soukas has extensive experience in interventional cardiology and vascular research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout his career, Dr. Soukas has served as principal investigator for more than 150 endovascular and 24 carotid stenting clinical trials. He has delivered over 300 invited lectures and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
