The latest funding includes new investments from ROM Utrecht Region and a group of Dutch investors, including Venturing Tech, as well as increased participation from the existing investor, Innovation Industries. This funding follows an $85 million raise completed in September 2023.

ViCentra will use the additional capital to strengthen manufacturing capacity and commercial execution in Germany, the Netherlands, and France. The funds will also support regulatory and operational preparations for U.S. market access. ViCentra is focused on scaling production of its Kaleido insulin patch pump system and advancing the development of a next-generation version intended for a broader international market.

Investor participation in the second close reflects growing confidence in the company’s progress over the past year. In 2025, ViCentra doubled its active user base to over 4,000 patients, achieving corresponding revenue growth. Adoption has been particularly strong in Germany, the world’s second-largest insulin pump market, as well as in the Netherlands and France.

Tom Arnold, CEO of Vicentra, stated that the new funding will enable the company to convert rising demand into sustained growth. “This latest funding enables us to further scale our manufacturing capabilities, strengthen our commercial presence and support in Germany, the Netherlands, and France, and ensure that we remain on course for our planned U.S. market access,”saidArnold, adding that the company aims to significantly expand its European user base by the end of 2026.

As competition in the insulin delivery sector intensifies, ViCentra’s strategy focuses on controlled geographic expansion, increased manufacturing capacity, and regulatory readiness. With a strengthened balance sheet and growing installed base, the company is positioning itself for its next phase of growth while preparing to enter the U.S. market with an updated Kaleido system.

ViCentra increased its Series D financing by $13 million, bringing the total to $98 million.
