The system is designed to help clinicians and researchers apply quantitative imaging approaches that reflect tissue microstructure and underlying biological processes across the full body, moving beyond traditional anatomical and functional imaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Titanion MR features an ultra-high gradient performance of 150 mT\/m at a slew rate of 250 T\/m\/s, which enhances the visibility of microstructural tissue and supports detailed research into neurodegenerative diseases. Other technical specifications include a high Grms performance to sustain strong gradients over time for advanced diffusion imaging, a low eddy current design to reduce image distortion, and a 55 cm field of view enabling whole-body coverage from brain to extremities in a single exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ioannis Panagiotelis, Business Leader for Magnetic Resonance at Philips, said the system expands the company\u2019s ability to quantify imaging biomarkers across the body, particularly in the brain. \u201cBy combining ultra-high gradient performance with advanced AI-powered software, we are helping clinicians and researchers gain deeper insight into tissue microstructure and underlying biology, supporting the next phase of MRI toward more precise and quantitative results, enabling increasingly proactive and personalized clinical insights,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system incorporates Philips\u2019 SmartSpeed Precise software, which the company says can deliver up to 80 percent sharper images and scan times up to three times faster. Titanion also requires only 115 kVA of power, allowing installation in a broader range of clinical settings without extensive infrastructure upgrades.
