China Guangzhou-headquartered EnChannel Medical announced the completion of RMB 200 million ($28 million) Series A financing co-led by Longpan Investment and Lilly Asia Ventures (LAV), significantly exceeding the company’s original financing plan.

The funds will be used to support the clinical trials and commercialisation of electrophysiology products, further improve the R&D system, and comprehensively strengthen the company’s technological advantages in the global electrophysiology field.

EnChannel Medical was founded in 2020 by senior electrophysiologists from China and the US, including Jun Feng (CEO), Min Zhu (CTO), and Graydon Beatty (CSO).

The company’s mission is to develop the next generation of atrial fibrillation (AF) therapeutic products and provide one-stop AF therapeutic solutions centred around “3D labelling + PFA ablation”. The company’s world’s first cardiac “4-Dimensional Labelling System” combines magneto-electric positioning (MEP) contact labelling technology and MEP non-contact labelling technology to enable real-time labelling of arrhythmia mechanisms during electrophysiological procedures. The system is the only “4-D” cardiac electrophysiology system known in the world that is capable of real-time intraoperative marking of persistent atrial fibrillation, bringing breakthroughs in the treatment of atrial fibrillation.
