Beckman Coulter Establishes Strategic Cooperation with Ningbo Health Smart Manufacturing to Deepen Presence in the Chinese Market

Beckman Coulter has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ningbo Health Smart Manufacturing (海尔施智造), marking a new phase in their deep collaboration within the Chinese market. Through this partnership, Beckman Coulter will leverage its manufacturing capabilities alongside Health Smart Manufacturing’s technological strengths to jointly develop and produce diagnostic products tailored to the Chinese market, aiming to provide efficient and precise medical solutions.

Health Smart Manufacturing, established in 2002, is a subsidiary of Ningbo Health Gene Technologies (HGT, 海尔施基因) and primarily engages in the research, development, production, and sales of immunoassay reagents and instruments. This strategic investment by Beckman Coulter will accelerate the development of Health Smart Manufacturing’s Nautilus™ Aneurysm Treatment Device and other next-generation medical devices.

The first was Suzhou Lihe Biotech (苏州立禾生物), established in 2016, which focuses on developing, producing, and selling medical laboratory automated testing systems. Through these strategic investments, Beckman Coulter has not only strengthened its local manufacturing capabilities in China but has also accelerated the pace of local innovation and development.
