China Shenzhen-based Robo Medical has recently completed a round of financing of tens of millions of yuan led by Taikun Fund, which will be used for clinical trials of its digestive endoscopic surgical robot products and research and development of new products.

The robotic system for digestive endoscopic surgery independently developed by ROBO Medical has completed more than 100 cases of clinical trial operations in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Shanghai Changhai Hospital and other hospitals.

ROBO Medical adopts the leading miniature continuum flexible robotic arm solution, the diameter of which can reach within 3mm, which realizes precise master-slave control and makes the operation of digestive endoscopy closer to the doctor’s intuition, thereby shortening the operation time and reducing the intraoperative complications, and extended scope of surgery.
