Newronika Secures €13.6 Million Series B Funding to Advance Adaptive DBS Platform
Newronika, a global leader in advanced deep brain stimulation (DBS) technology, has successfully closed a €13.6 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Fondazione ENEA Tech e Biomedical, with participation from existing investors including Indaco Venture Partners SGR, Innogest SGR, Wille Finance, TNBT Capital, and F3F. This funding will accelerate the development and commercialization of Newronika’s innovative adaptive DBS platform, designed to deliver precision therapy for Parkinson’s disease patients.
Newronika’s adaptive DBS system represents a paradigm shift in neuromodulation, leveraging real-time neural data and machine learning to provide personalized therapy. Unlike traditional DBS systems, which deliver continuous stimulation, Newronika’s platform dynamically adjusts therapy based on patients’ neural activity, improving symptom relief while minimizing side effects.
The funding will support the expansion of clinical validation efforts, advance product pipelines, and enable strategic collaborations to strengthen Newronika’s position at the forefront of medical device innovation. The company’s momentum is further underscored by recent milestones, including a grant from The Michael J. Fox Foundation and IDE approval for its adaptive DBS system.
