BrightHeart Secures €11M Series A to Expand AI-Based Prenatal Ultrasound Platform

Paris-based BrightHeart has closed an €11 million Series A financing round to scale its artificial intelligence (AI) platform for prenatal ultrasound. The round was co-led by Odyssée Venture and GO Capital, with participation from the Mussallem CHD Alliance, Lift Value, IDAHO HealthTech Club via Side Angels, Sofinnova Partners, and a group of clinicians and angel investors. The funding marks a key step as the company moves from regulatory and clinical validation toward broader market adoption.

The proceeds will support BrightHeart’s commercial rollout in the United States, expand its presence across Europe, and continue product innovation. The company’s B-Right AI platform is designed to assist obstetricians and gynecologists during routine prenatal ultrasounds, particularly in the assessment of complex organs such as the fetal heart. By integrating directly into existing ultrasound workflows, the software aims to improve exam completeness and diagnostic confidence without adding operational burden for clinicians.

BrightHeart enters this growth phase following a year of significant regulatory and clinical milestones. In 2025 alone, the company obtained five FDA clearances, established collaborations with leading academic medical centers, and published clinical results in peer-reviewed journals, including Obstetrics & Gynecology. According to the company, it is currently the only provider in this segment with published peer-reviewed clinical evidence supporting its technology.

Cécile Dupont, CEO of BrightHeart, stated that the financing will allow BrightHeart to accelerate its mission of embedding AI into standard prenatal care. “Our goal is to enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve outcomes for families and babies, and streamline clinical workflows for healthcare professionals,” Dupont said, noting that the new investors bring experience in scaling regulated healthcare technologies internationally.
