Natus Medical to Establish China Headquarters in Suzhou High-Tech Zone

Middleton, Wisconsin-based Natus Medical has entered into a strategic agreement to establish its China headquarters in the Suzhou High-Tech Zone, marking a significant step in its expansion in the Chinese market. The signing ceremony took place on 16 October, attended by Natus CEO Chris Landon, CFO Tim Allen, and executives from the company’s global operations alongside local government officials.

The new headquarters will include a domestic manufacturing base for neurodiagnostic products, aligning with Suzhou’s efforts to grow its medical device cluster. Local officials said the project reflects the zone’s commitment to advanced healthcare technologies and international investment. They also noted that Natus Medical’s portfolio closely matches the region’s industrial focus, creating opportunities for deeper cooperation.

Chris Landon commended the local innovation ecosystem and said the company intends to strengthen its investment in China. He added that Natus Medical will continue to expand research and development activities and plans to bring additional projects to the region as part of its long-term strategy.

Suzhou’s High-Tech Zone has emerged as a hub for medical device manufacturing, supported by dedicated policies for foreign investment and an established network of industry partners. More than 1,400 enterprises in the medical technology and healthcare sectors now operate in the zone, reflecting its growing role in China’s innovation landscape. The new headquarters is expected to enhance Natus Medical’s local manufacturing capabilities while deepening its integration into China’s healthcare technology supply chain.
