Stockholm-based Safe Life has expanded its reach in the United States with the acquisition of AED Authority® and AED Market.

AED Authority® is known for its comprehensive AED program management, a service designed to ensure the effectiveness and readiness of AEDs in emergency situations.

Since 2017, AED Market has focused on the retail side of AEDs, serving a wide range of customers. AED Market specializes in making AEDs accessible for both public and private use, providing exceptional customer service and affordable options.

These acquisitions build on the successful integration of Coro Medical, Safe Life’s first US acquisition, which laid the foundation for the American defibrillation industry.

By combining the strengths of Safe Life, Coro Medical, AED Authority® and AED Market, the companies have created a powerful alliance that raises the bar for creativity and customer service, helping to create safer communities by increasing access to essential life-saving equipment. Together, Safe Life has placed over 500,000 AEDs in the United States, Canada and Europe as the group continues to position itself as the leading AED provider in Europe and North America.

The acquisitions of AED Authority® and AED Market not only strengthen our presence in the US market, but also broaden our offering to provide a comprehensive solution to our valued customers,” said Jimmy Eriksson, CEO of Safe Life.
