Clairity Raises $43M Series B to Advance AI Platform for Predicting Breast Cancer Risk

Boston-based Clairity has closed a $43 million Series B round to accelerate the commercialization of Clairity Breast, the first FDA-authorized artificial intelligence platform that estimates a woman’s five-year risk of developing breast cancer from a routine mammogram. The financing will also support the development of Clairity Breast 3D and Clairity Heart, which aim to predict cardiovascular risk using the same imaging-based approach.
ACE Global Equity and Santé Ventures led the round, joined by new and existing investors, including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The commitment reflects growing confidence in Clairity’s vision to shift breast cancer care from detection to prediction by applying deep learning to widely available imaging exams.
Clairity plans to use the funds to expand its U.S. rollout, strengthen partnerships with imaging centers and health systems, and continue building a broader predictive health platform. The investment will also support reimbursement initiatives intended to increase access across community sites.
Founder Connie Lehman, MD, PhD, said the technology enables a fundamental change in how clinicians identify risk. “With Clairity Breast, we can now use the same images to predict who may be at risk over the next five years, supporting earlier intervention, fewer late-stage diagnoses, and more lives saved,” she said. CEO Jeff Luber added that the company is positioned to “redefine how the world approaches breast cancer” as it moves further into preventive care.
Investors underscored the significance of Clairity’s FDA-authorized platform. Gabriella Antici of ACE Global Equity described predictive imaging as “the next frontier in oncology,” while Donna McKay of BCRF said the company’s work “turns existing imaging infrastructure into a proactive tool for risk stratification.” Joe Kiani, who joins Clairity as an investor and board member, noted that the company’s use of AI “empowers physicians and patients alike to act earlier.”
