Kuanteng Medical Closes RMB 100 Million Series C Financing

Beijing-based medical imaging company Kuanteng Medical has closed RMB 100 million ($13.6 million) Series C financing led by CCI Fund, followed by Haixia Capital and Zhongchen Guochi Investment, for new product development, capacity expansion, and corporate operations.
Founded in August 2011, Kuanteng Medical is committed to becoming a leading medical imaging company in China. In 2016, the company acquired Kaipu Medical, a medical imaging company based in Benxi City, Liaoning Province, and established three R&D and production bases in Shenyang, Beijing, and Hangzhou. The company has a series of medical imaging equipment products covering CT, DR, MR, and C-arm, with its self-developed core components such as high voltage systems, spectrometers, gradient systems, and detectors.
The core team members of Kuanteng Medical are mainly from GE HealthCare, including Mr Yuliang Cai, the founder, who was the executive vice president of GE HealthCare China and has 27 years of experience in the medical imaging industry.
Kuanteng Medical has maintained high growth over the past three years, with total sales of RMB 750 million in 2022, including 1,600 units of DR products and 100 units of CT products.
