Burlingame, California-based Neptune Medical has announced the successful spinout of its Jupiter Endovascular subsidiary following the completion of a $97 million Series D financing led by Sonder Capital and Olympus.
This financing strengthens Neptune Medical as a gastrointestinal-focused company expanding into robotics for GI disease and allows Jupiter Endovascular to focus on its novel endovascular technology platform.
The spinout of Jupiter Endovascular is a strategic move that aligns with our long-term goals as Neptune continues to push the boundaries of GI robotics to deliver transformative solutions for patients and healthcare providers,” said Dr Fred Moll, the newly appointed Chairman of Neptune Medical.
