Philips Appoints Jie Xue as Chief Business Leader Precision Diagnosis and Özlem Fidanci as Chief of International Region

Royal Philips has announced the appointment of Jie Xue as Chief Business Leader Precision Diagnosis and Özlem Fidanci as Chief of International Region, both effective January 1, 2025. Both executives will join Philips’ Executive Committee and report directly to Roy Jakobs, CEO of Philips. These strategic appointments are aimed at strengthening Philips’ leadership team as the company drives forward with its vision of delivering better care to more people globally.

Ms. Xue, previously President and CEO of Global Magnetic Resonance Imaging at GE Healthcare, brings more than 25 years of medtech expertise and a proven track record in driving profitable growth and strategy in imaging. In her new role, she will lead the Precision Diagnosis business, alongside Bert van Meurs, who will continue to oversee Philips’ Image Guided Therapy business. Ms. Fidanci, who joins from Versuni, will succeed Edwin Paalvast as Chief of International Region. With 22 years at Philips, Ms. Fidanci brings deep expertise in health systems and consumer markets, having held key leadership roles in the Middle East, Türkiye, and Health Systems.
