Life Science Outsourcing Appoints Doug Constable as CEO to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Life Science Outsourcing (LSO), a leading contract manufacturer and service provider for medical device and life science companies, has appointed Doug Constable as its new Chief Executive Officer. The California-based company said Constable will lead its next phase of strategic growth and service expansion under the ownership of PPC Enterprises.
Constable brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the MedTech sector, most recently as CEO of Clayens North America, where he oversaw the company’s expansion into the U.S. and Mexican markets. Over his career, he has successfully guided more than 40 strategic transactions and is recognized for his ability to scale complex manufacturing operations.
Earlier this year, LSO strengthened its capabilities by acquiring strategic manufacturing assets from a global leader in precision microfluidic and diagnostic manufacturing. The move followed its 2023 acquisition of J-Pac Medical, further broadening its expertise in medical device contract manufacturing and integrated service solutions.
“Doug understands the opportunities ahead for LSO and the customers we serve,” said Asif Zaman, Partner and Head of Healthcare Services at PPC. “His leadership will help accelerate our growth and reinforce LSO’s position as a trusted partner to innovative life science and medical device companies worldwide.”
In his first remarks as CEO, Constable expressed enthusiasm for the company’s future direction. “I am honored to step into this new role and energized by the opportunities ahead,” he said. “LSO has built a strong reputation for quality and excellence, and I look forward to helping advance its mission as we expand our capabilities and reach.”
John Morgan, Operating Partner at PPC, added that Constable’s “long history of driving operational excellence and business performance” will be key as LSO continues its expansion across the medical device and life science markets.
