Olympus Launches VISERA S Imaging Platform in the U.S. for ENT and Urology

奥林巴斯 announced the U.S. launch of its VISERA S imaging platform, designed to provide advanced visualization for ear, nose, and throat (ENT) as well as urology applications. The system integrates white light, Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), and optional stroboscopy modes into a single compact unit, enabling flexible use across clinical environments.
The platform supports a wide range of endoscopes, both rigid and flexible, and is designed for improved image quality compared to earlier models. Physicians can switch between imaging modes at the touch of a button and capture high-quality still images or video. Integration with Olympus’ nCare recorder and VaultStream content management platform allows for streamlined data capture and sharing within healthcare facilities.
For ENT procedures, the optional stroboscopy mode enables detailed assessment of vocal cord function, supporting detection of subtle lesions. In urology, NBI technology enhances visualization of vascular structures and has been shown to reduce recurrence of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer in clinical studies.
Olympus positioned the VISERA S system as a cost-efficient solution for clinics and outpatient centers seeking to combine diagnostic versatility, image quality, and data integration in one platform.
