GE HealthCare and DeepHealth Expand Global AI Imaging Collaboration
GE HealthCare and DeepHealth, a subsidiary of RadNet, have signed a Letter of Intent to expand their strategic partnership to advance AI-powered imaging across multiple modalities. The companies intend to strengthen their existing collaboration in breast imaging, expand it globally, and introduce AI-driven automation and remote ultrasound scanning tools.
The new phase builds on the 2024 collaboration that integrated DeepHealth’s AI-enabled breast screening workflow with GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina mammography system. The expanded partnership now includes plans to distribute DeepHealth’s Breast Suite worldwide, integrate GE HealthCare’s ultrasound portfolio with DeepHealth’s Thyroid Suite, and combine the TechLive remote scanning platform with GE HealthCare’s ultrasound systems to improve clinical efficiency and access.
Karley Yoder, CEO of Comprehensive Care Ultrasound and Advanced Visualization Solutions at GE HealthCare, said the partnership demonstrates how collaboration and intelligent technology can advance precision care. “We look forward to incorporating DeepHealth Thyroid Suite and TechLive into our ultrasound portfolio, enhancing the capabilities of clinicians to make faster, more confident decisions,” she said.
DeepHealth’s AI solutions are designed to streamline workflows and improve diagnostic consistency. Its Thyroid Suite uses AI to automate nodule detection, measurement, and reporting, helping radiologists and sonographers work more efficiently. Clinical data from RadNet has shown a 30% reduction in exam time and a high rate of AI-generated report acceptance, indicating strong performance and workflow benefits.
The collaboration also plans to bring DeepHealth’s TechLive remote scanning technology to GE HealthCare’s ultrasound line. This combined solution allows clinicians to remotely perform or guide ultrasound exams in real time, improving access to expert care across geographically dispersed sites. GE HealthCare and DeepHealth will showcase their expanded partnership and joint technologies at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago from November 30 to December 4, including a joint panel discussion and live demonstrations.
