AirStrip Secures $50 Million Financing from OrbiMed to Advance AI-Driven Clinical Intelligence

AirStrip Technologies, a San Antonio-based healthcare technology company specializing in remote patient monitoring and clinical intelligence, announced it has secured a $50 million growth credit commitment from OrbiMed, a leading global healthcare investment firm. Alongside the credit facility, OrbiMed also made a preferred stock investment in AirStrip.
The new capital will support AirStrip’s expansion as demand grows for digital solutions in patient monitoring, clinical surveillance, and decision support. The company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate product innovation, enhance go-to-market initiatives, and expand deployments across hospitals and health systems nationwide.
AirStrip currently provides mobile-enabled clinical data access and real-time monitoring to more than 675 hospitals across the United States. The funding is expected to help the company scale its presence within the broader U.S. hospital market—encompassing over 6,000 facilities—while bolstering product development and operational capacity. AirStrip’s technology portfolio includes continuous clinical surveillance, digital decision-support systems, and predictive analytics designed to optimize alarm management, patient monitoring, and workflow efficiency.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Haris Naseem stated that the financing will enable AirStrip to advance its mission of integrating fragmented clinical data and transforming it into actionable insights to support timely, informed decision-making. Matthew Rizzo, General Partner at OrbiMed, noted that AirStrip represents the type of healthcare innovation OrbiMed seeks to back—offering scalable, sustainable solutions that enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
The investment marks a significant milestone for AirStrip as it positions itself for accelerated growth and continued leadership in AI-driven healthcare intelligence solutions.
