BenQ Medical Technology and Brain Navi Collaborate to Advance Neurosurgical Robotics in China

Taiwan-based Brain Navi Biotechnology has partnered with BenQ Medical Technology to introduce the NaoTrac neurosurgical navigation robot in China, leveraging BenQ’s extensive hospital network. This collaboration aligns with China’s 14th Five-Year Plan to promote intelligent medical solutions and domestic innovation in healthcare technology. The NaoTrac system, which has already been adopted by medical centers in Asia, Latin America, and Europe, will now be distributed through BenQ’s established sales channels in China.
“This partnership accelerates the integration of surgical robotics into smart operating rooms across China,” said Michael Kuan, President of BenQ Medical Technology. Dr. Jerry Chen, CEO of Brain Navi added, “Combining our AI-driven surgical technology with BenQ’s market presence creates the perfect platform to advance neurosurgical robotics adoption.” The collaboration represents a key component of Brain Navi’s 2025 globalization strategy to expand its footprint in major markets worldwide.
The companies will focus on providing localized support through training programs and hospital collaborations to ensure seamless implementation of the NaoTrac system. This initiative supports China’s growing demand for precision neurosurgical solutions while demonstrating the potential of Taiwan-China technology partnerships in advancing medical innovation.
